Canalside Summer Scavenger Hunt

Grab your phones and get ready! The Canalside Summer Scavenger Hunt presented by the Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation and in partnership with Buffalo Waterfront, is turning the Buffalo Waterfront into your very own outdoor game board.

Kids and grown‑ups will team up to explore Canalside’s coolest spots including Explore & More, the Buffalo and Erie County Military & Naval Park, the Buffalo Heritage Carousel, and many more. During the hunt, you’ll search for hidden objects, snap silly photos, and test your Buffalo brainpower with trivia challenges.

Go as fast or as slow as you like — it’s all about having healthy outdoor family fun. Every mission you complete earns you points, and players will unlock special offers from local attractions.

Best of all, the scavenger hunt is totally free thanks to Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation and Buffalo Waterfront. It runs all summer long through September 6.
