Park Golf

What is Park Golf?

Park Golf is a sport that combines elements of golf, croquet and mini-golf, designed to be simple, accessible, and fun for all ages. It originated in Japan in the early 1980s and has been made popular locally with Destroyer Park Golf in Akron, NY to be the first nationally sanctioned park golf course.

How to Play

  • Both feet must be on the ground and behind the white line when teeing off.
  • Always place the ball on the tee for the first shot. If the ball falls off the tee while addressing it, you may re-tee and take the shot again without penalty.
  • There is no penalty for missing the ball, as long as the ball does not move.
  • Out-of-bounds areas have been marked by white stakes. If your ball goes out of bounds, bring it back in within two club lengths of the point it crossed, and take a two-stroke penalty.
  • All penalties are two strokes.
  • Only one group is allowed per hole. Maximum of 6 players per group.
