Dedicated Quiet Ride on Sunday: 11:00 A.M.- Noon

Come take a ride on the beautifully restored Buffalo Heritage Carousel! Locally made and restored, the 100-year-old carousel is one of only five solar-powered carousels in the world. Since 2021, it has provided affordable rides to hundreds of thousands of Western New Yorkers and visitors from around the globe. To offer affordable and accessible enjoyment to all, the Carousel features a chariot custom-designed to accommodate up to two wheelchairs. Quiet rides are also available by request for those requiring a sensory-sensitive experience.

Ticket prices are donation-based, with a minimum donation of $3 requested, but please consider paying it forward if you are able. Discounted tickets are available through the Museums For All program for those who qualify.

Look for us in the award-winning KeyBank Roundhouse with a dedicated solar roof at the south end of Canalside. This cultural gem offers inspiration, joy, and hope for children and individuals of all ages.
