ABOUT THE CAROUSEL
Come take a ride on the beautifully restored Buffalo Heritage Carousel! Locally made and restored, the 100-year-old carousel is one of only five solar-powered carousels in the world, and since 2021, it has provided affordable rides to hundreds of thousands of Western New Yorkers and visitors from around the globe. With a goal of offering affordable and accessible enjoyment to all, the Carousel features a chariot that is custom designed to hold up to two wheelchairs. Quiet rides are also available by request for those requiring a sensory-sensitive experience.
Ticket prices are donation based, with a minimum donation of $1
requested, but please consider paying it forward if you are able. Look for us
in the award-winning KeyBank Roundhouse with the Tesla solar roof at the south
end of Canalside. This cultural gem offers inspiration, joy and hope for
children and individuals of all ages.
