VIP and General Admission tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.com and at the Canalside Information Kiosk located on the Boardwalk (opening May 2020). General Admission tickets can also be purchased at all 18 WNY Consumers Beverages locations and include (1) free drink voucher.
VIP tickets include Honda VIP Pavilion access with limited seating, (2) FREE beer/wine/soda vouchers, private restrooms, exclusive front of stage access and a seperate VIP entrance. ***New this year: VIP is all ages***

General admission tickets are sold at all 18 WNY Consumer’s Beverages locations, at the Info Kiosk on the Boardwalk at Canalside until 2pm on the day of the show, and on eventbrite.com. General admission tickets purchased at Consumer’s Beverage or Canalside’s Info Kiosk will come with a drink ticket good for a free beer, wine, soda or water at the concert. Tickets purchased at the door on the day of the show DO NOT include a free drink coupon.
No, there is an admission charge, varying from $5 - $15 depending on the show. Children under 5 years of age are free.
VIP Tickets can be purchased at Canalside's Info Kiosk or on eventbrite.com. VIP tickets are available for $35 - $45 depending on the show and give you access to the VIP Honda Pavilion where you receive 2 free drink coupons (beer/wine/soda/water), private restrooms, and access to the front of the stage viewing area! Feel free to bring your own chair!
Note: Day-of VIP tickets can be purchased at the main box office, if the VIP section is not already sold out.
Yes. Understanding that a fee may not be an option for all, the Canalside Cares program provides a limited number of free tickets to each concert, as well as other Buffalo Waterfront activities, including ice skating during the winter months. The United Way organizes ticket outreach.
Yes. You may bring your own chair for use in the General Admission area and the VIP Honda Pavilion. No chairs are permitted in the areas indicated by signs near the front of the stage.
This policy may not apply for third-party events.
Small handheld or personal cameras are allowed. Professional cameras of any kind are not permitted without a media pass.
No, unless it is a certified service animal.
No. Backpacks and large tote bags are not allowed.
Gates open at 5pm for each Waterfront Concert. Typically, music will start at 6pm and the headliner will go on stage at around 8pm, depending on the concert.
Yes. For the safety of our patrons, concerts will be canceled in the case of severe weather (thunder, lightning or very strong winds).
No, dock reservations are not available for concerts or paid special events. Rafting of similar-sized vessels is mandatory if no dock space is available. For dock rates, visit our general FAQ page.
Check out the Canalside parking map for thousands of great spots around Canalside! The Outer Harbor has ample free parking, please note it is first come, first served.
Visitors attending Waterfront Concerts throughout the summer are encouraged to arrive early to ensure orderly entry into the concert. Gates open at 5pm for VIP ticket holders and general admission. For Canalside concerts the entrance is located on Hanover Street. For Outer Harbor concerts the entrance is on Furhmann Blvd at the Lakeside Complex.
There is no re-entry.
At 9:30pm, gates will close and no entry will be allowed. In addition, any patron who is removed from the concert and attempts re-entry will be charged with criminal trespassing. No backpacks are allowed at Waterfront Concerts.
Yes. All bags and concertgoers are subject to security inspection. The following information is designed to assist in expediting the entry process.
Items that must be placed on the security inspection tables:
- All metal
- Bags (diaper bags and small purses are permitted—no larger than 12″x12″)
- Cell phones
- Electronic devices
Waterfront Concerts prohibits any item deemed inappropriate or dangerous by security, including:
- Weapons of any kind
- Air horns
- Animals (unless a service animal)
- Backpacks/large tote bags
- Bicycles (within the secure perimeter)
- Glass containers
- Illegal drugs/drug paraphernalia
- Laser pointers
- Outside food or beverage, including coolers
- Professional video and photo cameras
- Recording devices
- Selfie sticks, tripods or monopods
- Any guest who is deemed intoxicated upon arrival will not be permitted to enter
- Anyone under the age of 21 who has alcohol on them will be removed from the site
- Any adult who provides alcohol to someone under the age of 21 will be removed
- Staff may ask for proof of age from anyone wishing to purchase alcohol
- There will be a maximum of two beers sold to any one person at one time
- Anyone who staff believes to be intoxicated will be immediately removed
