USA Soccer Watch Parties at Canalside
Visit Buffalo, in partnership with Buffalo Waterfront, will host three USA Soccer Watch Parties at Canalside to celebrate the FIFA World Cup 26™ group stage matches between the U.S. Men’s Nation Team and Paraguay, Australia and Türkiye. The FREE public screenings of the June 12, June 19 and June 25 matches are sponsored by Empire State Development’s New York State Community World Cup Grant Program.
June 12th: USA VS. Paraguay
- From 6pm-8pm, enter for a chance to win a pair of World Cup tickets to Toronto game courtesy of Michelob Ultra
- World Cup souvenir cup for first 1,000 guests
- Doors at 5pm
- DJ from 5pm-7pm
- Live music by Vitamin D3 from 7pm-9pm
- USA game showing at 9pm
June 19th: USA VS. Australia
- World Cup souvenir cup for first 1,000 guests
- Doors at 1pm
- Live music by The Billievers from 1pm-3pm
- USA game showing at 3pm
June 25th: USA VS. Turkey
- World Cup souvenir cup for first 1,000 guests
- Doors at 8pm

Yes. All bags and event-goers are subject to security inspection. The following information is designed to assist in expediting the entry process.
Items that must be placed on the security inspection tables:
- All metal
- Bags (diaper bags and small purses are permitted—no larger than 12″x12″)
- Cell phones
- Keys
- Electronic devices
- Chairs
- Blankets
Any item deemed inappropriate or dangerous by security is prohibited, including:
- Weapons of any kind
- Air horns
- Animals
- Backpacks/large tote bags
- Bicycles (within the secure perimeter)
- Fireworks
- Glass containers
- Illegal drugs/drug paraphernalia
- Laser pointers
- Outside food or beverage, including coolers
- Recording devices
- Selfie sticks, tripods or monopods
- Umbrellas
- Any guest who is deemed intoxicated upon arrival will not be permitted to enter
- No outside alcohol or beverage of any kind is permitted within the facility
- Anyone under the age of 21 who has alcohol on them will be removed from the site
- Any adult who provides alcohol to someone under the age of 21 will be removed
- Staff may ask for proof of age from anyone wishing to purchase alcohol
- There will be a maximum of two beers sold to any one person at one time
- Anyone who staff believes to be intoxicated will be immediately removed
