Wilkeson Pointe

Working within an approximate 7-acre site, the area between the Wilkeson Pointe water edge and the nearby Fuhrmann Blvd entrance was renovated to provide a better visitor experience and arrival.

Perro & Poni is situated within the park, offering a relaxing beer garden, sand seating areas, a patio deck, and gorgeous views of the water. The parking is relocated away from the water and separated from the pedestrian trail, with a new restroom added adjacent to Perro & Poni.

*Perro and Poni is closed for the 2025 season*

The existing trails were relocated based on the new design and raised in elevation near the water’s edge. The landscaping now includes the utilization of natural species, creating additional habitat zones. Recreational activities returning to the park include volleyball courts, an open lawn area, kayaks, and bicycle rentals, as well as a new park golf location and programming throughout the summer.
