Wilkeson Pointe

Working within an approximate 7-acre site, the area between the Wilkeson Pointe water edge and the nearby Fuhrmann Blvd entrance will be renovated to provide a better visitor arrival and experience. The parking will be shifted away from the water and separated from the pedestrian trail. A food service building will be constructed that will also include restrooms and storage for the operations management team. The building will provide seating on both a patio deck and within a beach setting.

The existing trails will be relocated based on the new design and be raised in elevation near the water’s edge. The landscaping within the site will be improved with the utilization of natural species, creating habitat zones.

There will still be kayak and bicycle rentals, volleyball courts, and other recreation opportunities. When open, Wilkeson Pointe will again be a great destination for relaxation and recreation.
