Due to current site conditions from today’s ongoing weather patterns, the decision had been made to cancel the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra featuring the Strictly Hip concert for the safety of guests, performers, and equipment. BPO & THE STRICTLY HIP

Two Buffalo franchises, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and The Strictly Hip, collaborate to celebrate the music of The Tragically Hip at the Seneca Casinos Outer Harbor Concert Series on Saturday, July 15, 2023.

For 25 years, The Strictly Hip have been evangelists, spreading the good word of The Tragically Hip's music far and wide, taking an academic and curatorial approach to performing the music of Canada's most popular band. The music of The Tragically Hip is presented with reverence, respect, and accuracy.

In 2017, Bradley Thachuk, The Strictly Hip and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra premiered an exciting new collection of classic Tragically Hip songs featuring a full symphony orchestra. On Friday July 22, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra with conductor Stefan Sanders will present a program of Tragically Hip hits and fan favorites at Buffalo's beautiful Outer Harbor concert venue.

The Lakeside Event Lawn presented by the Upstate Honda Dealers is a picturesque concert destination located directly on the water at the Outer Harbor. Parking is free of charge on a first come, first serve basis. Ride sharing is encouraged.
