NATIONAL SAFE BOATING WEEK
The U.S. Coast Guard Sector Buffalo will be at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park for a Coast Guard Open House on May 20 to kick off National Safe Boating Week. From 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, visitors will explore some of the boats and trailers in the Coast Guard’s fleet, watch live search and rescue demonstrations in the water, and learn about the resources that are offered by the Coast Guard to help boaters stay safe. There will be activities for the whole family, including a line throwing competition.
