Kids Escaping Drugs Rise for Recovery Walk
The 4th Annual Rise for Recovery Walk, brings the community together on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 to celebrate both those in recovery and to remember those we have lost to substance use disorders. This day of awareness serves as a pillar of hope to all who attend.
Proceeds go to Kids Escaping Drugs (KED), whose mission is to empower adolescents and their families to live a life free from the disease of addiction through our community outreach, education, and early intervention program, Face2Face. This no-cost proactive programming provides the necessary resources to educate families about the dangers and consequences of adolescent substance use. Each year, our Face2Face Program delivers this critically important information to over 40,000 community members.
